Just A Little Bit "More"

Well here I am again because you see as I was admiring my new stair post I thought that my stairs could also use a bit of that same character...
Do you see where I'm going with this?I just couldn't leave well enough alone so down to the basement to grab some leftover paint and armed with some tape I began my mission.I pretty much eyeballed the taping and then gave the stairs two coats of paint. Two coats later of Polyocrylic and Ive added a bit more to my entryway. What have you done lately to add a bit of character to your home?

Your stairs look fantastic! I hope to get working on our basement stairs this winter. I hope you don't mind that I pinned this project.

This looks amazing, Diedre. I love the extra stripe on the sides - it adds so much more character that way.

What am I working on? This month I'm tearing off wallpaper in the first step of a facelift of my kitchen.

Hi there! I love your stairs! They are very unique. I've been trying to add a little character to my home by starting in my sunroom. Started it in JANUARY! Geez...
Oh well :-) Thanks for visiting me!

Your stairs caught my eye at the Feathered Nest Fri. The painted runner adds so much punch to the staircase! ~ Maureen
