A Wintery Wreath

Over the weekend I put together a pine cone wreath and was greatly inspired by one that I recently found on Pinterest.
There was just something about the simplicity of the white and red that caught my attention. It was a cinch to make I just used some old pine cones that my kids and I had collected and hot glued them to a base that I made then spray painted them white and hot glued Dollar Tree finds.Pretty straight forward and I took mine up a notch but all in all I think it turned out great! Total cost $2.00..

Oh, I love this!!! Cardinals and white are always perfect together - not too Christmassy either - you can use it all winter. Think I've got to make one too!

Finally I figured out how to leave a comment here :) Hi I'm Kim from Mammy 2 Grammy stopping by from Throwback Thursday to say Hey! and to say this wreath is just gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing. Definitely going on my list of wreaths to make. My Bigmama loved birds and Cardinals were her favorites I think. So this would be a wonderful homage to her and her beauty hanging on my front door. <3 Kim

Ok, I've been a bit obsessed with this wreath since finding your blog. I have the birds so far... I live in Florida so I don't have any pinecones obviously, I'll have to go to a craft store. Also, my dollar store was sold out of the wreath base. So I'll have to do a little driving around for all the parts. But thank you so much for this amazingly cute idea! I can't wait to make mine!
