Recipe as follows:
Filling: 8-cups of chopped and peeled apples,1/2-Cup of sugar, 1/4 Cup flour,1/2 Tsp cinnamon, 1/8 tsp nutmeg, 1-TBLS vanilla bourbon
Glaze: 1-cup confectioners sugar, 1-TBLS apple cider
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees, next prepare your apple filling set aside. In a food processor add flour, salt and baking powder give a few pulses then add the butter and pulse till mixture resembles coarse meal then through the feed tube slowly add the egg yolks and water,mixture should not be sticky pulse till mixture just starts to come together. Take it out and cut in half.Wrap each half in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
