DIY Easy Vanilla

I was just starting my fall baking of apple desserts when I thought about using my leftover Rum and vanilla beans to start some homemade vanilla.
It takes a bit to get ready to use so I started by slicing 6 vanilla beans down the middle and scraping out the vanilla caviar and adding that to the bottle of Rum.Also throw in the vanilla beans as well and there you have it easy peasy just cap it off and shake it up and put it in a dry dark place for about two months and there you have it folks some mighty fine vanilla.
